The lore, part 1: the bullish call

Arthur Hayes publicly named NEAR part of his “holy trinity” alongside HYPE and ZEC. The call helped put NEAR at the center of a wider market conversation.

The narrative was bullish. The chart was being watched. Then the position changed.

The lore, part 2: the exit

In June 2026, Hayes sold his entire NEAR position. The market noticed.

The contrast between the bullish narrative and the exit became perfect meme fuel.

The lore, part 3: the meeting

When Hayes later met NEAR co-founder Illia Polosukhin, he reportedly said:

“Good chart. You are rich.”

Note the “you” — not “we.”

The lore, part 4: the reply

“Three digit minimum.”

The community heard it. The phrase became the identity, the ticker, and the meme.
